This past Monday, I had the wonderful opportunity to meet with the Kauaʻi Retired Teachers Association. It was an inspiring day filled with engaging conversations and valuable insights from our retired educators. We took the time to discuss their core concerns, such as the future of education, community well-being, and the importance of supporting those who have shaped our island’s youth for generations.
I also had the chance to share a little about myself, my journey, and why I’m running for office. It was a powerful reminder of how much we owe to our kūpuna who have dedicated their lives to teaching and nurturing our future leaders. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn from their experiences and to listen to their visions for a thriving Kauaʻi.
Mahalo to the Kauaʻi Retired Teachers Association for welcoming me and making this gathering so meaningful. Let’s keep these conversations going as we work toward a stronger, more connected community.
